<p><em>Kapasan roads are prone to traffic congestion due to the high level of activity in the market and irregular parking of vehicles, which has the potential for congestion to occur. So from these reasons the authors are interested in controlling Traffic Management to Overcome Congestion in the Kapasan Surabaya Market Area. From the Traffic Management analysis, it is known that the actual road capacity is 1,135 Smp / hour, the degree of saturation is 0.9 and the increase in speed is based on the research of 16 Km / hour. <p align="center"><strong><em>ABSTRACT</em></strong></p><p align="center"><em>Â </em></p><p><em>The 3 km section of the road from Sambirampas District, East Manggarai Regency, Flores, East Nusa Tenggara suffered significant damage, both minor and heavy damage. This of course causes passing vehicles to take a long time to arrive at the place or main city. This study aims to see the damage to the road surface and the damage to the pavement. The method used in this study is the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method, which is a system of measuring road pavement conditions based on the type, level and extent of damage that has occurred, and can be used as a reference in maintenance efforts. After analyzing the pavement surface conditions using the PCI method, the PCI value of each sample unit is obtained which shows the results of the pavement conditions that occur on the Sambirampas District highway starting from STA 0 + 000 to STA 3 + 000, after being averaged. -even obtained the PCI value of 37.47 and classified it in the level of bad damage (Bad). A suitable repair alternative is a patch program (repair), overlay, and routine maintenance repairs.</em></p><p><em>Â </em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords: </em></strong><em>road damage analysis, PCI method, Patching, Overlay.</em></p><p align="center"><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p><p>Â </p><p class="6Paragrafbiasa">Ruas jalan dari Kecamatan Sambirampas, Kabupaten Manggarai Timur, Flores, Nusa Tenggara Timur sepanjang 3 km mengalami kerusakan yang cukup signifikan, baik kerusakan ringan maupun kerusakan berat. Hal ini tentu saja menyebabkan kendaraan yang melintas akan membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama untuk sampai pada tempat atau kota tujuannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis dan tingkat kerusakan pada permukaan jalan dan mengetahui nilai kondisi kerusakan perkerasan jalan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode Pavement Condition Index (PCI) yaitu system penilaian kondisi perkerasan jalan berdasarkan jenis, tingkat dan luas kerusakan yang terjadi, dan dapat juga digunakan sebagai acuan dalam usaha pemeliharaan. Setelah dilakukan analisa kondisi permukaan perkerasan jalan menggunakan metode PCI, maka didapat nilai PCI tiap-tiap unit sampel yang menunjukan hasil kondisi perkerasan jalan yang terjadi pada ruas jalan raya Kecamatan Sambirampas mulai dari STA 0 + 000 s/d STA 3 + 000, setelah dirata-ratakan didapat nilai PCI sebesar 37,47 dan tergolong dalam tingkat kerusakan buruk (Poor). Alternatif perbaikan yang sesuai adalah program tambalan (patching), dilapisi ulang (overlay) dan selanjutnya dilakukan pemeliharaan rutin.</p><p class="6Paragrafbiasa">Â </p><p><strong>Kata kunci</strong>: analisa kerusakan jalan, metode PCI, Patching, Overlay.</p>Evanius Arfin SanteMasliyah MasliyahBahtiar Prabowo
